The Hilarity of Witty Observations: “The Elevator” by Greg Glienna

I came across this video by Greg Glienna (creator of Meet the Parents) which completely orbits around my sense of humour. The witty observation within the concept of the short film targets what I’m pretty sure is a large percentage of us, a situation we can all relate to. Topped off with a pinch of irony and a helping of karma, this film not only hits home to my humour central, but reminds me of my own typical, bad-luck orientated life!

The direction and camera-work co-ordinate perfectly to make you feel enclosed and squashed, placing you in the situation yourself, targeting those flashbacks from your personal experiences within elevators!

It’s just a ridiculously perfect, quirky and witty piece of work, amazing that a story narrative can be so perfectly told within just 3 and a half minutes, skill! Worth a watch!
